| Caption | Another classic vantage of the Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe is from one of my favourite houses in Vallarta, Casa Mi Casa, on Miramar. When the bells ring every quarter hour and even when they play the Angelus every six hours, the effect is loud but somehow soothing. When they play all the time for the ten days of the Fiestas de Guadalupe and you live this close, it becomes torturous. Mexico’s equivalent of the garden gnome looks on. |
